[The Rival: Old Friend, Current Enemy]

Ever since I saw the original character sheet, I was super inspired by the Rival’s design and story. I’m a sucker for a lot of the traits in his design DNA—your attention to detail is what made me like him so much in the first place, and it’s turned up to 11 here.
I can’t thank you enough for sharing this character, and for liking my ideas for him enough to directly implement them into him. It’s such an honor to see that I’ve had such an impact on a character I love!

That attention to detail is something I try to implement into all of my character designs, even those that are simpler than the Rival's here.

And it is an honor to have someone as talented as you love a character I've created. I can't thank you enough for the support and love you've shown not only for this guy, but for many of my OCs and work in general. It's been big help for me.

You absolutely nailed both Zack and Valerie, both visually and as characters. Without even having Valerie talk, I might add! Makes sense that she'd get along with Carol. And going to Hot Topic and getting upset when nobody else there is as into edgelord bullshit as he is peak Zack. I couldn't have asked for anything better. You're a legend for this!

Interesting that Carrie's kneejerk response to Jen opening up like that is so snarky, and that Jen's response to that is to play it off with a joke. Says quite a bit about each of them, and shows your talent for character writing!

I really do think that Carol genuinely doesn't realize just how snarky she comes across as sometimes. While obviously she said that with a bit of sarcasm, she was also making a genuine (and rather blunt) observation. Like, yeah, that really makes sense now that you've mentioned it.
Regardless of Carrie's response, Jenny probably would have deflected anything she said with a joke anyway. That's just the way she is.

This looks great, Chelsea looks sexy as hell in this outfit! The muted colors of the background really makes her pop. I'm looking forward to seeing what other costumes she wears in the future!

Ah, I'd been hoping that we'd eventually get to see something like this! Chelsea is a bad bitch, and getting to learn more about her as a character is a blast. I hope we get to see stuff like her pistols, as well as her abilities in practice!

Glad you like it! I originally wanted to do a more dynamic piece with Ronin, but I settled for something simple instead. I had quickly realized that I really need to practice drawing male anatomy. I still enjoyed making it though. Your characters are great and I'll definitely be drawing more of them in the future. Anyways, I 'd like say happy birthday once more. Hope your day is going well.
