[Paper Planet DEMO]

Having grown up on Flash games, the loving influence and inspiration is clear. It feels like seeing something new from an old friend. Even a short demo like this is enough to provide tons of fun, and I look forward to seeing the full game! Everyone involved here should be proud of their work.

[Bundle Beeline]

A little simple, but not to the point that it isn't fun to play. The whole game has a very cute and fun style, it's just as enjoyable to control as it is to look at. Great work!

Fun stuff, I can definitely feel some Metal Slug influence. A bit shorter than I might've hoped, but still incredibly fun and well-made for what it is.

It's one thing to see a hilarious shitpost, it's another thing entirely to play one.

Hats off to everyone who worked on this, you did a spectacular job.

[ULTRA FORCE: OBLITERATION]

Incredible work as usual! I love the old-school feeling, the game manages to feel retro without feeling dated. There's a wonderful amount of thought and detail put into the sound and appearance of the game, and I really enjoyed it! Everyone who worked on this did incredible, I hope you all know that the effort has paid off!

I must admit that I do think that unless you get upgrades that are tailored to the weapon you're carrying, some of them can feel redundant or even useless. I've played other games that have similar mechanics, and they can fall into a similar trap. But I've played a few that will have perks that hamper your enjoyment by negatively impacting you unless you have the right weapon, so I'd say that this game avoids major issues! If the worst I can say about it is that it could be a bit better, that means it's still pretty damn good.

[Pandora's Egg]

Art and music are really impressive, with a nice balance of swords-and-sorcery fantasy and cutesy Gameboy aesthetics. Gameplay is indeed punishing, but not really unfair.
I think that any project, no matter how small or large, would have flaws if made in ten days. Especially when only made by two people! While there are flaws to be found, the sheer passion and effort you both put in vastly outweighs them. I think you two should both be proud of what you've done. Hats off to you, keep up the amazing work!

EDIT: thank you so much for your kind response! The flaws I encountered seemed to be pretty common, but thankfully not crippling to the game experience. The worst one was a responsiveness issue with the character’s attack. That was the only challenge that felt artificial or unfair, whereas the rest of the game is difficult but not unreasonable.
I hope that this feedback helps, and I hope that you had a great time working on this game!

[Sunnyside vs. the Eggies]

Definitely my favorite game of this Game Jam! Everybody who worked on this has brought their "A" Material. Gameplay is tight, music and sounds are fun and satisfying, the art is so nostalgic and yet contemporary!

May you all get the recognition you deserve for your passion and hard work. Thank you for giving us this game!

You did an absolutely wonderful job! The art, music, and gameplay are all on-point. Has some serious old-school charm, which is much appreciated. The scarcity of health, paired with the upgrades, help make you feel powerful, but not invincible. My only criticism would be that some enemy patterns border on unfair, and the lack of health pickups can sometimes add artificial difficulty. But overall, you should be incredibly proud of what you've done!
